Thank you Olya for taking the time to read the article and to give such helpful feedback. You are right, it's a pretty powerful paragraph! Perhaps I should put it in bold! It's a great reminder!

Thank you for such amazing and thorough article and sharing your story. It was very interesting and valuable reading about what causes the imposter syndrome. And also why it's so damaging and how to overcome the imposter syndrome.
I should re-read this often (loved this paragraph): "By owning your successes, you stop diminishing your value and start operating in alignment with your capability and competence. You start truly believing in yourself, which paves the way for new opportunities and further successes which you deserve."

Thank you very much Clair for the feedback. I am glad it provided you with you with some insight. It is fascinating to see how roles, which we have become accustomed to playing, can continue through the rest of our lives and impact our view towards our successes. Thanks again.

Very insightful article @Braving Boundaries, thank you.

I was very interested in your comments about children and how we 'label' our children differently.

The effect you mention applies when we label the "bright one" - they never think they are bright enough or achieving good enough results and often give up trying and under-perform. On the other hand the sibling who is not labelled "bright" feels no pressure to perform academically and often ends up outperforming their "bright" sibling.

Thank you for the insights and giving me lots to think about.
